What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture is a non-invasive, natural anti-ageing treatment that involves the insertion of acupuncture needles into the skin to fight the ageing process. Cosmetic acupuncture allows patients to feel confident, improve their skin health and reduce those wrinkles that may be causing grief.
How does it work?
The insertion of acupuncture needles into the skin stimulates the body's healing process (inflammation, white blood cells and chemicals) that works towards increasing blood, Qi and lymph circulation to improve skin quality. What is involved in a treatment?

- Gua sha and jade rollers - Gua sha is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine that promotes blood flow to the skin and muscles, giving a youthful and healthy look. Jade rollers work in a very similar way!
- Dietary therapy - diet plays a huge role in the regulation of the body's hormones and chemicals, which affect the skin. By implementing a healthy diet, skin quality can be altered.
